History
A seasoned female Knight with an extensive history that expands over three hundred years back into the Thousand Year Peace. Because of Relindel's socially decrepit state, there are no recorded events in the history books on the woman known as Talyse Eilundre, but a great many bards still sing of her legended deeds. The folk songs tell the tale of a brave and courageous knight, with skin the color of ebony, who fearlessly stared into the eyes of Death himself, and lead some faith-shattered knights of yore to defend Relindel from all imposing threats, be they man or monster--or the elusive Kellwyn. She has boldly laid her life on the line on countless occasion, and set aside her own personal desires to ensure the safety of her people.
Hailing from a long bloodline of swordsmen that expands seven generations, Talyse was introduced to physical training at an early age by her father, who served as a knight and leader of his own order in Relindel's militia. With her mother passed away, her father was left with no son to inherit his title, so resorted to training his last surviving family, his daughter Talyse. Once she came of age, she was allowed into his knightdom, where she was mutually esteemed as her father was; respect demanded she be treated in no other way.
After a traumatic civil conflict within the Kingdom of Relindel, Talyse learned of the devastation the Kellwyn could bring under the guise as one of her own trusted comrades, as she searched for the remains of her father and friends amongst the ashes of battle. It was then that she was unanimously selected to succeed to her father's title, and has taken the succession oath to devote her life to protecting the innocent. However, her all-consuming hatred for the Kellwyn led her to the outer expanses of the forests and caves where she leads the veteran cadre of knights, formerly of her father's order, to hunt down the remaining Kellwyn renegades.
